From 1 to 4 September 2026, the global maritime community will gather in Hamburg for SMM Hamburg, the world's leading maritime industry event.
With more than 2,200 exhibitors and around 49,000 visitors from across the globe, SMM is where the future of maritime takes shape. Under the theme Driving the maritime transition, this year's programme explores topics including digitalisation, energy efficiency, alternative fuels, security, talent and the start-up ecosystem.
Alongside SMM, a public-private trade mission from the Rotterdam region and the Provincie Zuid-Holland will travel to Hamburg. Organised by InnovationQuarter, Rotterdam Partners, Gemeente Rotterdam and DronePort Rotterdam, the mission connects innovative maritime companies with the Hamburg ecosystem to accelerate international collaboration, market access and business development.
